When planning a sunset wedding, you should allow at least one half hour for pictures after your ceremony. Most ceremonies last 15 to 25 minutes. A good rule of thumb is to start one hour before sunset. Your photographer will be able to assist you in determining the best time to start, based on his/her routine and preferences. Remember to give yourself plenty of time to travel to your wedding site. If you are late, your photographer does not have as much time to take these incredible sunset photos!
